What is Botox?
Botulinum toxin is injected in small amounts to temporarily relax selected muscles. In cosmetic care, it is used to soften certain expression lines. This differs from filler, which adds fullness. ELEV’s listed options include Botox, Xeomin and Rientox.

Movement lines and treatment planning
Expression lines become visible as particular facial muscles contract. Botulinum toxin temporarily reduces activity in selected muscles; it does not add volume to a hollow area. The clinician assesses the pattern of movement and the proposed injection sites. Explain how much movement you want to retain and which expression lines concern you most.
After the injections
Small amounts are injected into the selected muscles. Temporary redness, soreness, swelling or bruising can occur, and the effect develops over several days. Avoid rubbing the treated areas and follow the clinic’s instructions about activity and skincare. Ask when to review the result instead of assuming an immediate additional treatment is needed.
