What is Thermage?
Thermage uses radiofrequency energy to heat tissue as part of a skin-tightening treatment. ELEV includes it in its personal lifting range for discussions about firmness and fine lines. It uses a different energy source from Ultherapy PRIME.

Firmness and gradual change
Thermage uses radiofrequency heating as part of a process that supports collagen remodeling. The manufacturer describes results developing over the following months, so the appearance immediately after the appointment is not the only point of assessment. Skin condition and the aging process affect the outcome; the procedure is not equivalent to a surgical facelift.
Before and during your appointment
The treatment area and settings are planned around the assessment. Ask how comfort is managed and communicate any discomfort during treatment. Normal activities can often resume shortly afterward, but that does not mean every person has no reaction. Confirm your aftercare instructions, any activity restrictions and the appropriate time for a review.

How is it different from Ultherapy?
Thermage uses radiofrequency; Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound with imaging. These are different approaches, so the choice starts with an assessment.
Should I combine treatments?
A combination is not automatically needed. Ask the doctor to explain the purpose of each proposed procedure.
What should the price include?
