What is Ultherapy PRIME?
Ultherapy PRIME combines focused ultrasound treatment with ultrasound imaging. The clinician can view tissue beneath the skin while planning energy delivery. This makes the treatment different from radiofrequency-based options such as Thermage.

What the imaging adds
Ultrasound imaging lets the clinician view tissue beneath the skin and check contact during treatment. The treatment transducer then delivers focused energy at the planned depth. This is why an Ultherapy plan involves more than a total shot count: the area being treated and how energy is distributed also form part of the procedure.
What the appointment can feel like
Discomfort can occur as energy is delivered. Discuss comfort measures in advance and tell the clinician how you feel during the session. Possible after-effects include tenderness, swelling or bruising; recovery varies. Ask when your result should be reviewed and how to report persistent or unexpected symptoms, especially if you will soon leave Korea.
